Drag Bike Team

With the winter we have had thus far in Western Canada, summer cannot get here quickly enough. I know our Mac’s Motorsports Teams have all been thinking warm thoughts and working in their shops to prepare for another year of battle on the tracks.

I’ll try and update you as best I can on each, and we will start with the Drag Racers. Don and Greg had a great season and at times some good track rivalry as it came down to the two of them going toe to toe on more than one occasion. Don had a “get off” towards the end of the season dislocating his shoulder, but not even a scratch to those new sharp looking leathers the boys invested in this past season. Don and Greg both have their sights at being on the podium often in 2011.

Now Bret Hackl kind of eased into his first year, and is looking to attend more events in 2011 with that awesome looking car carrying the Mac’s Motorsports Branding. In talking to those who helped Brent get down the track in his new ride in 2010, 2011 is going to be a FAST year. So quick lights and safe passes Brent !!!

The Mac’s sponsorship of the Legends Series moves into its 17 season and a full slate of races are planned for the 60 odd drivers that compete in that series. The big event of that circuit is once again at Auto Clearing Speedway in Saskatoon on August 6th with the FROSTER 50.
Rumour has it past Mac’s Motorsports drivers Craig Ball and Randy Thompson may even get back into a Mac’s Motorsports Themed Legends Car for the odd race this season and both looking forward to not only saying hello to old friends, but meeting and competing against some of the fast new talent in that Series as well.
