After 10 years of
Legends racing, Brent is switching to the dark side – DRAG
RACING.
The #3 Pepsi / Mac’s Legends Car evolved through a few paint
schemes over the years. Universal Cycle provided the horsepower
from day one. With the help of long-time crew Chris Huntley and
Carmen Hackl, this Mac’s Motorsports team won many races
(including 2000 Semi-Pro winner of the Mac’s Firecracker 50) and
these championships:

Now the team is
making a BIG change – starting the learning curve again in a
totally different kind of racing. Unfortunately, very little of
our oval track technical knowledge will help us on the drag
strip. We’ll be leaning heavily on the drag racing expertise of
our Mac’s Motorsports teammates Don Fergin and Greg Westling,
and on our dedication, resourcefulness, and competiveness. |

After a lengthy
search, we’re now in the midst of purchasing a high-horsepower,
big tire, tubular chassis drag car. Stay tuned for updates after
the car arrives in the garage!
